New Heavy Nova Studios logo!

New decade, new direction, new logo.

With The Devil's Music, Heavy Nova Studios is proud to announce plans to produce feature film on a permanent basis, effective immediately.

Plans are already in motion, with the announcement that a deal has been made with Triquetra Productions Canada for myself to direct a romantic comedy written by Nathaniel Villanueva, People Like Us. Production will begin later this week and should be finished around April 2012.

Also, The Glove, a superhero comedy starring Joshua Bond, is currently finishing its writing stage, with production scheduled for Summer 2012. Lisandre Bujold is finishing another feature film script that will enter production in April or May of 2012. Another romantic comedy, There's Nothing New Under The Sun, is in talks, and should be ready to shoot Fall 2012.

That being said, we won't abandon short film, with The Great Grey Witch, scenes of which will be shot this upcoming weekend, to be released before the end of 2011, as well as some other short films and a pilot episode of Creatures Of The Night, to be shot in early 2012.

2012 will be an exciting year for all of us. I can hardly wait.

I'm getting ready to shoot a script by Lisandre Bujold, a short spooky story called "The Great Grey Witch", this coming saturday. The film will star Lisandre, as well as Joseph Wills in the role of the antagonist.

A woman is on the run from mysterious men in black as she knows too much about an inpending invasion. What secrets does she know?

A deal will also be made for a dramatic piece written by Nathaniel Villanueva, People Like Us.

A man's attempts at getting back to his passion while dealing with the attraction he has to a man who rejected him prior. Meanwhile, his best friend has to learn to love herself before she can let others in.

A different kind of film for me, but if the deal goes through, it will be my second feature film. More news on that soon.

Finally, I've just given a small interview to The Record concerning my first film that was recently shot in the Eastern Townships, "The Devil's Music". I'll post it on here when it comes out.

Officer Jim Friendly (Mike Walsh) follows a lead into the cemetery.

The undead (Mike Walsh & Naran LaFlamme) stalk our heroes.

Another recently dead (Jessy Leblond) is on the lookout for some flesh.

What 80's horror film is complete without a nice campfire scene?

Don't forget, Steve The Miner (Vlad Stokanic) is also in this movie.

And that's it for a bit with the stills. Wouldn't want to spoil every little thing about the movie before it comes out next summer. There are still a couple scenes to complete, but about 97% of the film is shot and being put together as we speak. The plan is to shoot what's left in early October.

That being said, the film is in post-production and I am in talks of getting a professional composer for the score. More on that soon.

Finally, production on the next film will start in late October, so neat stuff on the way for sure.

The Devil's Music is well under post-production as we speak and work has already begun on the next few projects from Heavy Nova Studios.

Currently, I'm writing the action comedy The Glove, which should be interesting. Attached to star in the film are The Devil's Music actors Josh Bond and Florence Cloutier-Patte. The film is slated to be shot in June of next year.

Also, I'm in talks to direct a screenplay by the talented actor/writer Nathaniel Villanueva, which would start production in late October.

Finally, Lisandre Bujold, actress and producer extraordinaire, is writing both a romantic comedy and an action film, one of which should begin production in April.

I might also shoot a cameo appearance for The Band Of Morons' Yellow Peril follow-up, most of which is already shot. The original can be viewed right here.

The film is my first feature film, and was shot mostly last August.

The cast & crew were a treat to work with and all in all, it was one of the best experiences of my life. Hopefully, the first of many and then some.

Here is the first teaser trailer for the horror film I'm working on, The Devil's Music (2012).

"The Devil's Music" is a retro horror feature film set in the 1980's. After graduation, a group of young adults head to the woods for a nice weekend of sun, suds and fun. On their way to the lake house, the town crazy warns them about Steve the Miner, a supernatural serial killer stalking the woods, hunting people who trespass on his properties. Of course, that's not going to hinder the party, which pretty soon kicks off. Couples get together, a lot of 80's dancing occurs, but soon, someone is watching them. One by one, they disappear into the night, until only a few of them are left to fend off the darkness. To make matters worse, suspicions abound that there is more than one killer... Will they survive the night or will they perish as well?

New look and updates

The blog is roaring anew with a brand new sleek and sexy look, as well as some good news. For next year, I have decided to invest myself in not one but two feature film projects, both horror, one I've been working on for some time and another that is a new idea based on an older unfinished project. I will announce what those are shortly, after the release of The New Lodger, which has been pushed back to January.

Also, I've shot a small skit featuring the Bargain Pirate for the SCENE Card "Director's Chair Contest 2", which I will post online later once the contest is over.

Finally, I've played a cameo of a no-nonsense road policeman, Officer Cooney, in Rémi Fréchette's latest film, Une Main Pour Joe, a black humored crime comedy starring Mathieu Leclerc and Stéphanie Forcier. Click here for part 1, and here for part 2. Enjoy!

"The New Lodger", a thriller with a giallo flavor I am currently working on, gets a new poster, this time with inspirations from old italian movies, complete with grammatical mistakes and an animal-based title, "La Culla Del Gatto" (Cat's Cradle).

Also, here are some still from the film's opening sequence, guest starring a new face, Ketsia Thebs as Bianca as well as the first glimpse of a mystery actor as The Gloved Killer.

Finally, the screenplay is going through some changes, and a fresh new screenwriter, Catherine Pion, has been brought on the project to help make it a better one with some much-needed rewrites. More news soon!

The New Lodger casting news!

Well, after a brief casting session, I am glad to announce that I've reluctantly cast myself as the titular new lodger, and my longtime friend and previous collaborator Gaël Bouffard as a friend of my character, who meets a rather gruesome fate. The writing is going slower than expected, however the film has taken a few giallo undertones which makes the slight delay worth the wait. Of course, the film stars the lovely Lisandre Bujold as the main character, Ann Bridges, who unwittingly sublets half of her apartment to a rather dark and sinister man, Stephen Blake.

I am proud to announce that pre-production has also started on a new horror picture, "The Witching Hour", tentatively planned for a March release. The film tells the story of a priest who must stand watch over an old woman's corpse, as she's believed to be a witch who is of great importance to the Devil. As the night goes on, horrors and frights befall our hero, as he tries to keep his sanity... and his life, intact. The film tells the story of a young woman's growing suspicions that her new roommate is not all he appears to be. As the news tells of more and more local disappearances, she grows more and more afraid of the new lodger...

7-13 Sept Updates - "Gougou" and more...

"Gougou: Le Film" (2010) relates the story of Max, a cartoonist who's favorite cartoon crosses over to our dimension, and in exchange with helping Max get his dream date, he will help Gougou to save this world and his own. An eclectic mix of live-action and animation and a witty screenplay mean this film will be prime entertainment for both young and old. Starring Antoni Fortier, Alexandra Simoneau-Landry and myself as Gougou. Be on the lookout!

Also, I filmed a cameo for a Neon Pop Corn production of Rémi Fréchette's "Une Main Pour Joe" (2009), in which I play a rather irritable highway policeman. That film stars Mathieu Leclerc, Stéphanie Forcier and Kate Kendall and is of course directed by my good friend Rémi Fréchette. The film will be online soon.

Speaking of upcoming releases, "Night Of The Damned" (2009) has been pushed back for an October release to allow for the scoring and sound effects to be properly finalized. Also, skits from "The Amusement Fun Show" as well as the pilot episode of "Janitor Bob" should be released shortly. More details as they develop!

Post-production of "Night Of The Damned" nears completion, with only the music remaining. Otherwise, we are currently in the writing stages for the next big project, as well as editing skits for the "Amusement Fun Show". This last week has been a quiet one. My first paid vacation from work in almost a whole year, so naturally I took things easy. "Night Of The Damned" is on standby for an upcoming release in a week or two.

The audio for a few of the cartoon skits for "Amusement Fun Show" were recorded today, including "Mighty Moron Forest Rangers" and a James Bond parody. The layout for a few of the upcoming episodes were made or updated as well.

Finally, I began serious work on my first novel, "Café Sinestro". The plan is to finish it by the 31st of December 2009. Wish me luck!

Editing on "Night Of The Damned" is complete, with only the soundtrack missing. Hopefully the film will be released on the estimated August 1 date, or at least a few shorts days after.

Also, the first episode of "Amusement Fun Show" is in production, with half of that episode's skits completed, and the other half is underway. Expect a late August / early September release for that one.

Principal photography of "Night Of The Damned" has just wrapped. The film is currently in post-production, with most of the editing and visual effects done. Music and sound editing will be completed soon for a August 1 release.

Plotting for the next project is underway, with many ideas being noted down for various projects, until the next one is selected.

Also, the main website has been updated, click here to view, thanks to our webmaster Gaël Bouffard. As you can see, Janitor Bob episode 1 and Amusement Fun Show episode 1 are in production and will be available as soon as they are completed.

Alright, time for some updates.
Saturday, the 18h, we will shoot the remaining scenes of "Night Of The Damned", and if possible, production of the film will be complete, with only final edits, titles and soundtrack remaining in post-production.

"Night Of The Damned" is an upcoming short horror film made in order to help finance "The Devil's Music". The film tells the story of five friends who venture out to a cemetery to communicate with a dead relative, naturally unsuccessfully. However, they instead awaken an evil spirit who rises out of the beyond and possesses one of them, forcing him to kill his friends one by one, damning their souls and turning them into ghouls like him. As the teens fall one by one, the remaining girl must keep her wits about in order to dispel the evil and save her own life...

This film stars Patricia Danakas, Mike Amyot, Lisandre Bujold, Jason Dezan and myself as Oliver. I also wrote and directed it.

All right, so first let me apologize for not updating more regularly, I'll do my best next month. So anyways, I turned 20 this past 17th of October, so that's one year closer to making it, at least I hope. Now to end this, my favorite month of the year, I will introduce a project dear to my heart. "The Chamber Of Screams" is an horror anthology I am meticulously writing and producing, and I am currently in production of it. I am also making calls, getting people interested, the works. So keep an eye out for this puppy, coming next year!

One of my favorite comic book characters, I've always dreamed of bringing him to life. The film would be set in France, in a small town called Champignac. I would base the plot on the first 2 albums of "Les Aventures De Spirou & Fantasio".

Spirou is a bellhop at the Moustic Hotel when he finds himself running after a mugger. This leads him into a heap of trouble which then leads him, his pet squirrel Spip, and his best friend and roommate Fantasio hiding out in a mansion in the small burg of Champignac. There they meet the Count of Champignac, who is under pressure from local mobsters, led by Fantasio's shady cousin Zantafio, to create a formula that will make them invincible. Meanwhile, clingy news reporter Seccotine is on the lookout for a scoop. Spirou must face all odds, and with a little help from his friends, he might just make it.

Sunset People

I've always loved musicals and dance numbers as well as cheapo horror films, so I figured, why not mix and match? And thus, the general idea for "Sunset People" emerged. I've also always wanted to play a vampire, with many facets, not just a romantic one or a bloodthirsty monster. Also, skeletons doing the robot just sounds awesome, no?

SUNSET PEOPLE (2014)
Graff Orlock is a vampyre from ancient times. He has slept for hundreds of years, and has now risen from the sleep of the dead to claim a bride. Meanwhile, Johnny is taking his girlfriend Cheryl out for a night on the town, and the dance floor becomes a battleground as Graff enters to show off some of his moves. After a showdown, he kidnaps an hypnotized Cheryl, and it's up to Johnny to save her at Orlock's castle, in the outskirts of the city. As he face ghosts, ghouls and goblins, he is helped by his grandfather, an aging rocker. Will he save the girl and put an end to Orlock's reign of terror?

Billy & The Heartless

I've always wanted to make a dark yet charming fairy tale, and this was to be it. Originally set to be my first novel, I also envisioned this to be the first film I would make as soon as I had "made it", i.e. I would be in command of a large crew, have my own studio or studio backing. This is really the first time I felt something I wrote could be considered a strong story and I've always held out of talking about it too much for fear of plagiarism. I am usually not afraid that someone steals my ideas, but this is one of the only cases where I really am careful about my ideas. Anyways, here's the main plot line, and I hope you like it and that it gets made sooner than later.

BILLY AND THE HEARTLESS (2012)
Billy is a 23 year old janitor who is a little slow in the head. Some kids at Green Meadows High tease him, but as long as his uncle and fellow janitor George and younger friend and football hero Jim Jones are there to help him, everything is fine. Of course, the fact that a new young teacher named Sarah is replacing old Mr. Astin as the science teacher is even better. As Billy tries to look his best to impress Sarah, strange things begin to occur in the school halls. A teacher and some students have disappeared, and Billy hears noises in the air ducts while cleaning. Something is living in the walls of the school, something horrifying, something without a heart. With Sarah and Jimmy's help, Billy sets out to discover the truth and uncover a dark secret.

STRANGERS AMONG US!

Alrighty, so this is the first feature film project I have worked on and this is another one of those on / off projects that have been brewing in my brain for half a decade now. This is essentially a classic zombie film, in the vein of George A. Romero's DEAD movies. The script has gone through 8 drafts, the film was at one point called "SEASON of the DEAD", then "TWILIGHT OF THE DEAD", and finally "STRANGERS AMONG US!". Many directors were associated to this project, including myself, Eric Piccoli and Rémi Fréchette. I was cast as the main character, Donald Greene, and "BRUCE LIVES!" star Nina Clark was to play Donald's sister, Jessie Greene. Along the way, most if not all of the other roles switched casting here and there, and over the years, the project just disappeared. I am tentatively fiddling around with a ninth draft, a Plan 9 if you will, that perhaps will see the light of day.
Who knows, right?

STRANGERS AMONG US! (2009)
Donald Greene's sister Jessie is pregnant, and insists upon seeing their family doctor, who moved to the heart of the country. Donald reluctantly agrees to drive Jessie there, and a long boring drive is in perspective. Unfortunately for them, the heart of the country has become the heart of an invasion of the living dead! Donald and Jessie meet other survivors, who are either too scared to help or have become crazy and will do anything to ensure their own survival, even if it means killing everyone else. To add to the madness, a ragtag team of army dropouts turned mercenaries are pillaging and ransacking the area. Will they help our heroes, turn against them or will they all fall prey to the hunger of the undead?

The Devil's Music

Ah Devil's Music. This project has been on and off so many times I can't tell if I'm working on it at this moment or if I've shelved it permanently. This was to be my first feature project. I've written 4 drafts, each one more concise than the previous. I've composed a temp soundtrack to help me visualize it more. I've cast and recast and recast. At various points during the project's development, my friend Rémi Fréchette was set to direct. At other times I was to handle those duties single handedly, à la Orson Welles. I'm sure if I ever put this project in production, I will leave it in the capable hands of my friend, and focus on the acting and scripting. This project has really given its name to development hell, as I burn with the thought of making it one day.

THE DEVIL'S MUSIC (2009)
Simon "Spider" Carpenter loves to give his friends one hell of a show when he has them over for the night. As this is the night after graduation, he feels he has to outdo himself as this is perhaps the last weekend they will spend together for a while before real life takes over their free time. For such an occasion, he has procured an item that is bound to entertain, surprise and shock. Cantata Dei Azrael, The Devil's Music, a vinyl that, if listened to backwards as a group, will give out satanic messages. He warns his friends however, as he has been warned by the mysterious shopkeeper who sold him the album, that it must not be listened to backwards alone, as the listener will be subjected to demonic possession. As the night goes by, friends have fun and frolic, but one of them, Jack Campbell, curious, takes the vinyl disc out of its pitch black envelope, turns on the machine, and becomes host to a demon from the depths of hell. One by one, his friends are butchered until only one of them is left to defend herself from the night. Will she survive once she has to face the music?

Dragonslayer

Dragonslayer is an adventure film that spans a few eras, most notably the Roman Empire, Medieval Times and Contemporary Times. It would star Lisandre Bujold as Eleanor, with myself playing Remus The Dragonslayer.

DRAGONSLAYER (2012)
The Eye Of Darkness is a pearl imbued with the forces of evil. Whomever finds it is cursed to live forever, alone and corrupted. A young centurion, Remus Argo, finds the pearl and becomes a hero of the people. A wise but immortal ruler he saves his people from their oppressors. Feeling alone, he quests for a female companion. Having found no one, he returns to his land and sees his people massacred. Centuries pass and tales of an unkillable warlord abound. A young knight named Badon tries to prove himself worthy and decides to fight a dragon. The dragons however, are disappearing at an alarming rate. It seems the immortal warlord now calls himself the Dragonslayer and moves from town to town, pillaging and killing with his crew of thieves and murderers. Badon's hometown is destroyed, and together with his wife, Eleanor, he searches to find and kill the Dragonslayer. In the fight, Badon dies, but Eleanor acquires the Eye Of Darkness and the Dragonslayer is buried alive in the remains of his fallen castle. More centuries pass and Eleanor has now become the ruler of the criminal underworld. She controles everything in the shadows, and his challenged by none. None apart from another immortal, the Dragonslayer, back to make things right!

MAKIMONOBURG Saison 1

Finally, a project in the making that has huge chances of being made. Makimonoburg is a sci-fi horror series that I have been working on like crazy, and after the first 3 short tests are made, I shall move on to Season 1 of the series.

MAKIMONOBURG Saison 1 (2009)
The first season of Makimonoburg follows Philippe "Phil" Lémon Jr. and his sister Lily as they investigate on weird happenings and bizarre occurances in the town of Makimonoburg. They are aided by the lovely reporter Agathe Greene, and the tenacious Lt. Marshall Kobritz. In the first season, the secret agenda of Lémon Industries's rival, the Blaupunkt Corporation, is at the center of many mysteries that the Lémon sibling must solve each episode. The series will have 14 episodes, including 2 two-parters.

Bazooka MAMA

This is not my project per se, but I did participate in a lot of the pre production. This was Rémi Fréchette's baby from 2004 to 2005 where we just moved on to other projects due to lack of budget and motivation. The film was in french, based on a videogame idea Rémi came up with in 2003, and starred Morgane Debellefeuille as the titular Bazooka Mama, Roxane Paradis as her nemesis Yvonne, Dominique Rheault as Mama's nephew, Gadget Man and myself as Yvonne's sidekick, the villainous Dr. Jay. We shot a trailer for the film and even made some model kits for miniature shots. Unfortunately, our limitations at the time prevented us from going on with the shoot. Who knows, maybe Mama will come out of nowhere sometime in the future...

BAZOOKA MAMA (2005)
Mama invites her friend Yvonne for a game of bridge. While Yvonne is losing terribly, Mama jokingly bets her house if Yvonne wins the next hand. Yvonne cheats and Mama loses her house and is kicked out into the streets. Not one to go down easily, Mama then moves into her nephew's apartment, and with his help, plans to reclaim her house. Meanwhile, Yvonne needed the home because of its location, on the top of the hill overlooking the city. It is the perfect location for a deadly beam weapon she plans to blackmail the city in paying her ransom money. Aided by the maniacal genius, Dr. Jay, Yvonne's plan seems unstoppable. Unstoppable to anyone but Mama, now armed with a bazooka, and her nephew now outfitted in experimental gadget gear, who enter the house to face the menace within and put an end to Yvonne's threats. Explosive excitement awaits!

SCREAMS! In The Terror House

"Screams! In The Terror House" was to be a send-up of the old 1950's, 1960's ghost story pictures, such as "The Haunting" and "House On Haunted Hill". A good 5% of this film was shot, but some of the actors moved away and principal photography was constantly delayed until the film fell into the file of unfinished projects. There is no hope to use the existing footage, as the lighting is terrible, but perhaps the story, or parts of it, will show up in a future project.

SCREAMS! IN THE TERROR HOUSE (2007)
The brilliant professor Robert Wise, along with Melanie Forrester, a young ingenue, Daniella Harris, his assistant, and Hap Harrigan, the young heir to the Chapman House, all spend the night in the aforementioned house, only to be preyed upon by the forces of the night. Chills abound in this classic horror story!

Chiaroscuro

Chiaroscuro is a futuristic film noir I planned to make all throughout 2007 and 2008. Several of the film's scenes have been shot, with 40% of the film complete. I am however shutting production indefinitely as I feel that I've lost interest in the project and I prefer to put it on hold than risk releasing a botched product.

CHIAROSCURO (2009)
Nero Bianco is an ex cop who has been sent to track down a missing industrial heiress in exchange for information on the murder of his wife. Nero refuses, preferring to continue his investigation on his own. After hitting a dead end, Nero reluctantly accepts the mission, and thus begins his search for Carolina Azure, the missing heiress of Azure Engineering. The truth is not always black and white!

Boris The Bear

This would be a film adaptation of the Boris The Bear comic books from the mid-80's. Boris T. Bear was an anthropomorphic talking bear on a mission to destroy all the other anthropomorphic animal characters stinking up comics after the sudden popularity of "Eastman and Laird's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". The character was created by James Dean Smith, for Dark Horse Comics, until issue 13 where the comic was now produced by Smith's own company, Nicotat Comics. The original run ended in November 1991, with issue 34. The series has now been resurrected by Smith's new company, Oasis Comics. It is one of my absolute dreams to make a film based on this character.

BORIS THE BEAR (2009)
Boris is reading about the return of the TMNT in the movies, and is shocked to see several pale imitators to the latter also rising up. Boris decides to not only kill, maim, brutalize and altogether roughhouse with these, but also get what's rightfully his; his very own film! Along the ways, he learns the truth about the cinema game and the entertainment business in general, as well as meeting dozens of parody from every genre. It is said that everyone deserves an adventure, and that couldn't be more true for Boris T. Bear! Get real with the bear of steel!

Bad Break

I've always wanted to make a slasher, and so I've started writing one based on ideas my friend and fellow filmmaker Rémi Fréchette and I pitched around here and there. I already had made the Bad Break poster for an entirely different film, one which consisted of a house that was unlucky and possessed and killed all those inside. Not having made that, I decided to re-use the poster in a move akin to the first Friday The 13th's production, and just make a film based on the poster. Hopefully, this project will be made soon.

It's Halloween night and the gang is all here at Jesse's house to party! Little do they know that amongst their costumed friends hides a dangerous killer who is not in the least bit ready to spare any of them. Armed with a slender knife, a chainsaw, a rake and various other implements of doom, he stalks them one by one, leaving mangled bodies and bloody masks in his wake. Better think twice about going out tonight. It's going to be a killer party!

MAKIMONOBURG : Le Marais De Raxifolorius

MAKIMONOBURG : LE MARAIS DE RAXIFOLORIUS (2009)
Phil has been sent by Makimonoburg Center Of Cryptozoological Studies to capture a creature that escaped from the Swamp Of Raxifolorius, an artificial ecosystem created by scientists. The creature was last seen in the local forest area and is also a subject of a manhunt by Adrian Remy, a shady bounty hunter, hired by the parent of a girl supposedly slain, along with her boyfriend, by the creature. Phil must work alongside Remy to catch the creature, but must keep a close eye on his murderous companion. As they say, and as Phil will find out, keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer.

FOK-MAN Wii

Here is the second of the first batch of test episodes for the sci-fi horror series, Makimonoburg. As opposed to "Les Chiens De La Rue Dupin" which is a more conspiracy based menace, this one is a classic whodunnit.

MAKIMONOBURG : MEURTRE ET MYSTÈRE (2008)
Phil Lémon, accompanied by the lovely reporter Agatha Greene, is a guest at a fancy supper hosted by the very rich and mysterious Sir Jonas Smith. Later in the evening, Smith reveals to the guests in the study that he has received a death threat, which while not unusual in itself, has one peculiar trait. The note is signed by every one of the guests. The lights go out, panic ensues, and then the lights turn back on. Sir Smith is dead, and Phil will need the help of his hero and fellow guest, the great retired detective, Ulysses Pastiche.

TWISTED METAL : HIGH OCTANE

A while ago I wrote a treatment for a Twisted Metal movie. It was based on the first entry in the Twisted Metal series of car-based combat video games, and so includes only Roadkill, Outlaw, Mr. Grimm, Yellowjacket, Warthog, Darkside, Crimson Fury, Hammerhead, Spectre, Thumper, Pit Viper and Sweet Tooth. The film is set in 2014 in Los Angeles and would feature crazy car combat scenes and explosions. It would also have a couple of sub-plots, including a terrorist group known as Apocalypse 9, who are angry Calypso's contest is taking the spotlight away from the threats, and the motives behind the drivers.

TWISTED METAL : HIGH OCTANE (2009)
The year is 2014. The place is Los Angeles. Christmas night. 12 drivers have been selected by the mysterious Calypso to compete in the Twisted Metal contest. The rules are simple. Eliminate the competition, literally, using your vehicle-mounted weapons, speed and a bit of crazy, to claim the ultimate prize. One wish, whatever the winner chooses, not limited by size, price or existence. Tonight, the streets will run red and black with blood and oil. Welcome driver, to Twisted Metal!

The Rock Warrior

This is a sort of remake of a really old (2004 to be exact...) short film my friend Rémi and I made for fun when we were still snot-nosed teens. The older film itself offers few beyond the charm of two kids playing around with a camera. Anyways, Rémi mentions that he would like to make something out of that concept, and here I think, why the hell not. It sounds like a lark, so here's a poster for it and a small treatment for the story.

THE ROCK WARRIOR (2008)
From the distant planet Led Zeppelin comes a rock and roll alien, Dave Lightning. He has powers that include shooting bolts of energy and being fuckin' awesome. He was sent to earth to eliminate a record producer who recently produced a string of really bad albums, and people seem to gobble it up like candy. This has got to stop. Little does he know that the producer has an army of brainwashed minions, and is in fact the Devil himself! Teaming up with a cute pop rock singer, Dave must put an end to the Devil's plan of creating shittier and shittier music, before it's too late!!!!!
